No Soldier Left Behind
South Carolina, more than some states of the union, has a cherished tradition of strongly honoring the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend this country. That tradition was born in the revolution and continues today in Iraq and Afghanistan. We honor our military and we make sure they are treated when they come home with the best of care and offered educational opportunities.
So why, given that long unbroken tradition, do we find that Representative Barrett has other ideas about honoring our Vets? StandUpForVets.org has recorded his voting record. You can find it. Go to their site and you will discover that this so-called Representative of the People has voted against the interest of South Carolina Vets in almost 60% of the votes he has cast on Veterans issues in Congress.
As a former Air Force officer, I ask you, is this the kind of representation South Carolina wants? I don’t think so. For me, this kind of treatment of our military veterans is intolerable. We need new representation in Washington.
Ms. Dyer,
Thank you for coming to the Am. Lgn. meeting last night. It was my first meeting too, having recently moved into this area from OH. It seems like an active post and seems good for the community.
I have something in common with you and your husband, having been a KC-135 pilot and also having flown old prop planes in RVN. In my case the aircraft were C-47’s.
Small world.
Good luck with your campaign.

Ms Dyer I too am a Vet, and recognized the 1st Cavalry Division pin on your opponent in tonight’s debate. One of my soldiers died of Cancer at 26 a few years after being stupid enough to explore a bombed out Iraqi tank…before any of us knew what Depleted Uranium was.
I spent half of my Army Time overseas, and have thousands of hours spent as Cargo on C-5’s, C-141’s, C-130’s and even a couple of KC-135’s. (THANKS…all the landings were successful! )
Please do accept my meager, out of district, contribution. And good luck.
